Description
Located on the West Coast of Scotland is the Isle of Jura, where the red deer population outnumbers the human population by 5000 to 200. The island lies only 60 miles from Glasgow, (as the crow flies), yet can take rather a long time to reach. It consists of one road, one pub, one distillery and one shop and is often described as remote. Jura 1990 Rare Vintage Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a distinguished and highly collectible Island single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1990 and bottled at 46.5% ABV. This exceptional vintage Jura whisky showcases decades of careful maturation, delivering a refined balance of rich fruit, oak, and subtle coastal character. Distilled on 5th December 1990, it was initially aged for 26 years in American White Oak ex-bourbon barrels, before being finished for a further three years in an Amoroso Oloroso Sherry butt. Crafted from non-peated barley, this incredible whisky is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. It is presented in a fitting wooden case, with an outturn of only 900 bottles.
