Description
Jura Superstition is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Jura distillery, reflecting the island's cultural heritage and folklore. It was a core range expression, launched in 2003 and discontinued in early 2018. This no-age-statement whisky is a blend of Jura's finest young and aged whiskies, with some components reaching up to 21 years old. It is lightly peated, crafted from 13% peated barley (40 phenol ppm) and 87% unpeated barley, and matured in ex-Bourbon casks. The bottle features the ancient Egyptian Ankh cross, rumored to bring good fortune. It offers a unique style and character, combining sweetness with subtle smokiness.
