Description

The Jura Tastival 2016 is a limited edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky released to celebrate the annual Tastival festival hosted by the Jura Distillery. This expression was initially matured in ex-Bourbon casks and then underwent a unique triple sherry finish in Palomino Fino, Amoroso Oloroso, and Apostoles Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 51% ABV and non-chill filtered, it offers a complex and rich flavor profile.

Hot creamy caramel, roasted hazelnuts, over-ripe pears and soft vanilla. Maple syrup, delicate aged oloroso sherry and crushed almonds.
Palate
Baked apple segments dusted with Demerara sugar and cinnamon, kiwi fruits and hot mulled wine. Candied orange, toffee, dark chocolate, dried fruits, hazelnuts, and a light touch of caramel.
Finish
A fusion of sundried sultanas, glazed pineapple and lemon verbena. Long and warming, with lingering notes of oak, soft spices, and a delicate hint of salinity.
