Description

Jura 21 Year Old Tide is a single malt whisky from the Isle of Jura, part of the distillery's core range and Aged Vintage series, released around late 2019/early 2020. It is matured in American ex-bourbon casks and finished in hand-selected virgin American white oak casks, imparting a spicy character and hints of cracked pepper. Palate
Rich and viscous, with sweet notes of golden syrup, caramel, heather honey, milk chocolate, and sweet almonds. Also features melted white chocolate, toasted walnut, sugared almonds, gingerbread, marzipan, and a waft of smoke. [1, 3, 4, 12]
Finish
Long and warming with prominent peat smoke, chocolate, and robust maltiness, reminiscent of chocolate digestive biscuits. Fades with spices, warmth, dryness, and a smoked coconut note. [1, 3, 4, 12]
