- Nose
- Sweet apples, oranges, ripe fruit, and sweet spices with floral notes and a very light peat. Malt is present, supported by black pepper, clove, honey, and fresh vanilla. Dark and sweet yet bright on baked apples, orange liqueur, nougat, walnuts, and caramelized ginger, with hints of honey, caramel, prunes, dates, and a dry spiciness.
- Palate
- Toasted malt, caramel, and a slight hint of smokiness. Mild sweetness, buttery, with earthy and herbal notes, and Christmas-y spices balanced by brown sugar. Can also present with tannins and a bitter, loud spiciness.
- Finish
- Long-lasting, warm, and inviting, with vanilla and oak. Clean, with licorice dryness and a ginger spiciness. Dark, sweet, and feisty.
