Description

Kamiki is a unique blended malt whisky made using Japanese malts whiskies combined with specially selected malt whiskies from around the world. After blending, the whisky is finished in casks made from yoshino-sugi (often referred to as Japanese cedar), making it the first whisky ever to enjoy a yoshino-sugi cask finish. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at 48% ABV.

Nose
Fragrant citrus blossom and baked apple, with a hint of balsa wood and dry peat. Other notes include green tea, sandalwood, cedar, cinnamon, and pine.
Palate
Floral notes remain at the fore, with touches of forest floor, apricot and kumquat developing in the background. Also, spicy wood flavors, honey, vanilla, red fruits (plums, nectarines, apricots), sweet caramel, Japanese plum, balanced oak, and peat.
Finish
Long-lasting with toffee and a zest of green tea. Cedarwood and spices, with a lovely peated linger.
