Description

A modern Japanese whisky distillery, Kanosuke was founded in 2017 by Komasa Jyozo Co. Located along the Fukiagehama Beach in the Kagoshima Prefecture, it operates three differently-shaped pot stills to produce a variety of single malts which it then blends together. Its first whisky was released in 2021. The distillery is known for its unique microclimate and its approach to whisky-making, drawing influences from its parent company's long history in shochu production.
