Description
A modern Japanese whisky distillery, Kanosuke was founded in 2017 by Komasa Jyozo Co. and is located along the Fukiagehama Beach in the Kagoshima Prefecture. The distillery operates three differently-shaped pot stills to produce a variety of single malts which it then blends together. Its first whisky was released in 2021. This new spirit, 'Single Malt Kanosuke', is matured in various types of oak casks previously used for 'Mellowed Kozuru' - a rice shochu aged in oak casks. This unique process imparts a sweet and spicy 'Japanese' nuance, beautifully balanced with a mellow and rich flavor. This particular expression is a Japan Airlines Exclusive.
