Nose
Hints of chalky Fino, dusty cellars, waxed paper, huge minty notes, cigar boxes, faint peat, yellow plum, tiger balm, and incense. Also tobacco, old leather, menthol, lovage, and dried parsley.
Palate
Sweet notes of pear and pineapple, herbal/bitter notes of ginger tea and heavy salty liquorice. A smoky hint of matchsticks and surprisingly peaty. Also sultanas, dried bananas, figs, and orangey notes.
Finish
Long, peaty, with lemon zest, bitter wood, and ginger.
