Nose
Deep amber with a warm copper-gold sheen and a hint of mahogany at the rim. Opulent and multilayered, the nose greets with rich red fruit, fig and raisin, cloaked in dark cacao and espresso. Leather, tobacco, cedar and polished oak weave through hints of vanilla and spice, while a subtle smokiness and maritime iodide give a lingering, refined finish.
Palate
Opulent and intense, this 62% cask-strength delivers a sherried surge of dried plum, fig and raisin, threaded with dark chocolate, espresso and toasted oak. Spice coats the tongue—clove, cinnamon, black pepper—while leather, tobacco and a smoky, resinous finish linger, adding warmth and long, luxurious complexity.
Finish
Long, scorching finish that blankets the palate in spicy warmth. Dark chocolate, espresso and dried fig unfold with tobacco, cedar and rich oak, while a coastal salt lift glides through. Peppery spice lingers, tapering to a refined, smoky oak glow that persists.
