This limited bottling is part of a series of multi-vintage Karuizawa from the distillery's final years of production, each bottled at cask strength and labelled with a different image from the Fugaku Sanjurokkei or 36 Views of Mount Fuji print series. Part of the '36 Views of Mount Fuji' series (Fugaku Sanjurokkei), featuring different artworks by Hokusai. This is the 30th edition, featuring the print Umezawa in Sagami Province. The series was produced between 2015 and 2021.
Historical context
Karuizawa distillery closed in 2000/2001, and this bottling is from its final years of production.
