Description
Karuizawa 19 Years Old Artist #13 1999 is a very rare single malt from the lost Japanese distillery Karuizawa, bottled for the 13th edition of La Maison du Whisky's acclaimed Artist range. The legendary distillery was founded in 1955 and closed in 2000. Its remaining stock is now highly sought after by collectors and fans of Japanese whisky alike. This bottling was drawn from one of Karuizawa's final vintages. The single malt was distilled in 1999 and matured in a sherry butt until 2018, when it was bottled at 60%. The colourful label has been designed by contemporary Taiwanese artist Wang Yung Chiu.
