Nose
A big sherry influence with sultanas, raisins and dry figs. Over time figs jump out with earthy notes as overall light subtle notes persist.
Palate
Much creamier than the 1st release. There's Christmas cake, rum-raisin butter tarts, prune jam, candied ginger and candied lemon peel. Water brings out a certain freshness with maraschino cherries, apricot jam and a hint of marzipan.
Finish
Longer than the first with rich chocolate, cointreau and berry jam.
