Nose
Rich fruity and nutty, with orange, citrus, and gentle wood spices. Notes of brown sugar, molasses, vanilla, milk chocolate, raisins, grapes, dark plums, red licorice, and orange zest.
Palate
Sweet, with amplified candied fruit, grapey and plumy characteristics. Luscious, thick, and syrupy mouthfeel. Oaky backbone, wet oak, vanilla, nutmeg, pepper, burnt brown sugar, ginger, coffee, chocolate, citrus zests, sloe berries, and sugary shortbread with raisins.
Finish
Long, with fruity and candied notes fading into oaky elements and burnt sugar. Classic Kavalan astringency, with a zesty hint of passion fruit, lemon, caramel, and fizzy strawberry laces.
