LooseleafRover30 SeptThe description points to a rich, syrupy whisky with intense fruit and sherry.
bluehour.sparrow13 SeptThe character described here feels generous rather than restrained. Fruit moves from mango and cherries on the nose to plums, pineapple and raisin on the palate, while caramel and nuts provide a steadier thread. The palate is described as thick and syrupy, with that concentration carrying into a long finish of roasted notes, coffee and black tea tartness alongside sweetness. That contrast is appealing, though the intensity leaves little room for quiet. A vivid, high-impact single malt rather than an understated one.
