Nose
Dark berries, plum jam, and black cherry lead, backed by caramel, vanilla pod, and cocoa. Raisin, fig, toasted nuts, and a soft balsamic nuance rise with time, wrapped in sweet wine-soaked oak and mild spice.
Palate
Full-bodied and viscous, it shows raspberry coulis, stewed strawberries, and ripe stone fruit over caramel, brûléed sugar, and milk chocolate. Cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, espresso, and a touch of orange oil build as the cask strength asserts itself without flattening the fruit.
Finish
Long and indulgent, the finish carries dried fig, raisin, and berry jam into cocoa, coffee grounds, and gently drying oak. Black-tea tannin, light spice, and lingering chocolate remain, leaving the palate warmly coated and satisfied.
