Nose
An opulent and vibrant bouquet of zesty mandarin and ruby grapefruit, anchored by dried dark fruits like raisins and prunes, with notes of brown sugar, molasses, vanilla, milk chocolate, and subtle wood spices like cinnamon and star anise.
Palate
Sweet and luscious, with candied fruit notes, grapey and plumy characteristics, rich dark chocolate, blackcurrants, wild strawberries, and blueberries. A creamy, velvety texture with wet oak, vanilla, nutmeg, pepper, citrus zests, brown sugar, sloe berries, and a touch of sugary shortbread.
Finish
Long and resonant, with lingering fruity and candied characteristics fading into oaky elements, burnt sugar, syrupy tropical fruits, pomelo, sweet oak spice, caramel, fizzy strawberry laces, leather, and a hint of astringency.
