- Profound, big yet elegant sherry with notes of prunes, dates, cherries, raspberries, toasted nuts, cinnamon, turpentine, camphor, varnished oak, chocolate, and Balsamico. Also includes poached plums, stewed prunes, pressed raisins, sultanas, inky molasses, tobacco, liquorice, dark and red fruits, old oak, pencil shavings, stewed tea, burnt raisins, black walnut, Calvados barrel-aged Norman Cidre, dried figs, black cherries, rancio, juicy cherry jam, prune, bramble, chocolates with raspberry ganache, orange juice, mossy notes, light herbs, light tobacco, cigar boxes, and sherry funk. - Rich and powerful with a fruity side (plum jam, blackcurrant, baked banana) and a dry, slightly bitter side. Dark chocolate. Other notes include spicy red berries, sweet sherry, hot stew of plums and prunes, dry European wooded finish, raisins, dry cinnamon and nutmeg spiced old oak, heavy tannins, burnt sultana fruit, chocolate-covered dried figs, black cherries, rancio, thick and creamy, cherry, raisins, plums, papaya, rich dark chocolate, sweet cinnamon, pancake syrup, moist earthy quality, tree bark, cinnamon, toffee, orange, molasses, anise, nutty and sherried vanilla sweetness, dark fruits, spices, cocoa, robust cognac, polished wood, cedar, clove, aniseed, walnuts, superglue, blackcurrant jam, and a very active sherry influence. - Finish
- Chilli heat, then rich and dry sherry. A hint of malt at the end behind the sherry. Doesn't hang around too long, and gets soft and fruity quite quickly. Medium finish. Other notes include dry oak, lingering burnt dried fruit and spice, dark fruits, sticky jam, tobacco smoke, slight rubbery note, slight aftertaste of figs, smoke, toasted cumin, melon, salt water, chocolate, coffee, nuts, and instant dryness.
