Description

Kavalan Distillery, founded in 2005 in Taiwan, produces single malt whiskies under the Solist label, which are higher-end single cask expressions. The Solist Sherry Cask is matured in top quality Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at cask strength without artificial coloring or chill filtration. It has won multiple awards, including a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and 'Best Rest of the World Single Malt Whisky' at the World Whiskies Awards in 2012. The tropical climate of Taiwan accelerates the aging process, resulting in complex and flavorful whiskies.
