Description

Kilchoman 100% Islay 5th Edition is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay region, bottled in 2015 at 50% ABV. It is part of Kilchoman's '100% Islay' series, which uses barley grown and malted on the Kilchoman farm. This limited edition release is a vatting of whiskies distilled in 2009 and 2010, matured in a combination of fresh and refill ex-bourbon barrels, including ex-Buffalo Trace casks. It is noted for being lightly peated and bottled without chill-filtration.
