Description

Kilchoman, established in 2005, was the first distillery built on Islay in 124 years. This 9th Edition Club Release is an 8-year-old unpeated single malt, distilled in August 2012 and bottled in November 2020 at cask strength of 56.2% ABV. It was matured in four first-fill Oloroso sherry hogsheads and produced from 100% Islay spirit using Publican barley grown and malted on site. Despite being unpeated, faint hints of smoke can be found due to remnants from previous peated spirit runs. This limited release of 1311 bottles was exclusively available to Kilchoman Club members.
