Nose
Very captivating, with malt biscuit, pineapple, apricot, candied lemon, hazelnut, red fruit crumble, crème brulée, pine needles, apple strudel, and an iodised streak. Smoke frames the aromas, suspended between grilled fruit and toasted wood.
Palate
Oily and full-bodied, with ginger, nutmeg, malt, tropical fruit compote, pear, red fruits (blackberries, currants), salted caramel, shortcrust pastry, candied citrus, and a faint note of brine. Mild and warm peat smoke is present.
Finish
Long, with dull coals, grilled fruit, malt, Catalan cream, salty notes, nutmeg, and a tasty, subtle peat smoke note.
