Description

Kilchoman, which came online in 2005, was the first distillery to be built on Islay for 124 years, and has garnered a sterling reputation. This 'French Inspiration #2' is a small batch release for the French market, matured in a unique combination of ex-bourbon, Oloroso sherry, and Sauternes casks. It offers a tasty marriage of citrus and peat smoke, characteristic of Kilchoman single malts, with notes of apricots, honey, and white grapes from the Sauternes casks.
