Description

Kilchoman, which came online in 2005, was the first distillery to be built on Islay for 124 years - and it has garnered a sterling reputation in its short lifespan. This is the 2nd edition of Kilchoman's Original Cask Strength series, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2016. It was fully matured in specially selected ex-bourbon quarter casks, resulting in a powerful, peated single malt bottled at natural cask strength, without chill filtration or added coloring. This release had a yield of 12,000 bottles.
