The third batch of Kilkerran Heavily Peated single malt, released in 2020, is a vatting of 80% ex-bourbon and 20% sherry casks. This Campbeltown whisky is bottled at cask strength of 59.7% ABV and is non-chill filtered. It is part of the 'Peat in Progress' series, showcasing the distillery's heavily peated spirit. Kilkerran is the brand name for single malt produced at Glengyle Distillery, which re-opened in 2004.

Medium to long, with bitter oak smoke, residual sweetness, chilli heat, lemon, BBQ fire, smouldering bonfire ashes, and a lasting sweet, fruity peat smoke.
