Smooth and oily mouthfeel with prominent vanilla, cherry, and green apple notes. Sweetness from brown sugar, molasses, and honey is balanced by spices like black pepper, chili, anise, and oak. A gentle peat smoke is present, along with tropical and citrus fruits, and a creamy, nutty texture.
Finish
Long and warming with lingering sweetness of vanilla, honey, and burnt sugar. Hints of peat and strong oak are present, along with creamy textures, and notes of peach, citrus, and almond, leading to a dry, spicy, and sometimes abrasive end.
