Nose
Some floral and malty hints. Mild sherry notes of the citrussy, leafy kind.
Palate
The initial rush of peat and wood smoke is followed by a gentle sweetness with hints of spice. Good dose of peat—not phenolic but earthy with sooty smoke.
Finish
Clean, crisp and smooth. Long. The soot dominates here and there's some white pepper and some clove too.
