Description
First launched in 2021, this whisky was distilled at a renowned Glasgow distillery by two of Scotland's most acclaimed distillers. King's Inch was developed, to specification by the late master distiller Jim Swan. One of his final commissions, the mantle of distillation of this precious spirit was then passed to experimental distiller Jack Mayo. A reflection of Glasgow's spirit of innovation, cutting edge distillation methods have been used to produce an exceptionally characterful and smooth Lowland single malt. Distilled with West-Coast malt and water drawn from Loch Katrine, it has spent time in hand-selected first-fill Bourbon and Oloroso casks. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, it is a non-age statement whisky of exceptional length and character, with approximately 5000 bottles available in its initial release.
