Description

A Lowland malt distillery, built upon a disused farm steading in the Cambo Estate in Fife. Originally conceived by Douglas Clement in 2009, he was unable to finance the project and it was sold to the Wemyss Development Company in 2012, who built it and had it operational by 2014. This is Release No. 8 of the Kingsbarns Founders Reserve, bottled from spirit matured for six years in Bourbon barrels. It is described as zesty with a ginger and oak spice finish.
