Kirin is not usually known for their whisky but rather their other beverages such as beer and sake. This is a blended whisky for all you Nippon whisky geeks out there! From the less known Mt. Fuji Distillery (Fuji Gotemba). This bottle was made available in limited quantities at the Kirin online store DRINX in 2022. This special limited edition release combines a historic malt aged for over 30 years with other whiskies, and includes grain and malt produced at the same distillery using four distinct stills. The blend also contains a small amount of peated whisky and uses crystal clear Mt. Fuji snowmelt water.
