Description

Originally a joint venture between whisky giants Seagram, Chivas and Kirin, full control was assumed by Kirin in 2002. This Kirin-Seagram Crescent Whisky Supreme is an older, rare bottle of Japanese blended whisky from the 1980s. Chosen at the peak of maturity, this blend of the finest malt and grain whiskies is the pride of Kirin-Seagram's Chief Blender. The distillery, Fuji Gotemba, was founded in 1973 as a joint venture between Kirin Brewery and Canadian JE Seagram Co. Ltd. Focusing on blends for the domestic market, the distillery is equipped with a varied range of equipment, including pot stills, kettles, and columns. As Kirin owns Four Roses, bourbon casks dominate the maturation process. 43% ABV.
