Lemongrass, barrel char, cooked down red fruit jam, creme brulee, tobacco, old oak, and leather.
Palate
Vanilla custard, baking spices, leather, honey, barrel char, oak spice. It has a nice viscosity, well above average, but drinks a little below the proof.
Finish
Hot honey, baking spices - especially cinnamon at first, then transitioning to a long fade out of barrel char and leather that gets a touch drying but overall is quite nice.
