Description

A Speyside single malt whisky from the Knockando distillery, part of Diageo's Scotch whisky holdings. This 1984 vintage Master Reserve expression is aged for 21 years and bottled at 43% ABV. Knockando is known for its contribution to the J&B blend, but also has a long-standing single malt brand. The distillery uses oak and sherry barrels for maturation. This particular release is presented as a gift set with two branded tasting glasses.

Smooth, gentle, and subtle, with continuing notes of leather, tobacco, salt, raisin, prune, bitter chocolate, cinnamon, almond, clove, Sherried raisin, honey-covered apples, and rich honey.
Finish
Mild, warm, and gentle, with notes of well-used leather, herbal notes, mint, eucalyptus, spices, oak, camphor, and a touch of spearmint.
