Description

Kurayoshi Matsui 18 Years Old is a limited-edition blended malt from the Kurayoshi distillery, released in 2018 as a Travel Retail Exclusive. The whisky is a blend of Scotch and Japanese malts, aged for a minimum of 18 years in white oak barrels, specifically ex-bourbon casks, in Japan. It is proofed with the soft groundwater of Tottori Prefecture's Mount Daisen and bottled at 43% ABV. The stunning label and box depict Japanese cranes with Mount Fuji in the background.

Long, velvety, accented by gentle spice and a touch of smoke, vanilla-forward, crackling spices, sour fruits, dry, leathery, smooth, satisfying, and a small amount of sweetness highlighting aromas of wheat and vanilla cream.
