It is aged for a minimum of 12 years, primarily in American white oak barrels. Palate
Tingly, apple tartness, orchard fruits, faint red stone fruits, char, aromatic barley with a floral edge, fruity core of apple and white grape, nutty caramel, vanilla, sharp pepper, earthy, herbal, mineral note, light fruit, sherried malt, sultanas, roasted apricot, salted plum, hazelnut with baking spice and almond skin.
Finish
Pleasantly hot, medium-length with some light smoke, roasted nuts, mineral, peppery note, lime, ginger, floral, lightly fruity, dry, ground coffee, cooking chocolate, fading spice, soft and smooth.
