Nose
Fresh, smooth, and light with fruit notes (pears, fruit berries), soft wood, vanilla, cinnamon, and a slightly smoky touch. Wonderful balance of oak, smoke, and crushed fruit berries. Sweet honey, caramel, and cereal notes are also present, with hints of hazelnut and cooked apple.
Palate
Light-bodied and smooth, starting with sweet vanilla and evolving to fresh fruits like pears and cherries. Notes of dark chocolate, black coffee, and a touch of oak smoke. Creamy smoothness with lingering fruit and oak smoke flavors. Herbal vanilla, slight new oak, balanced spiciness and sweetness, creamy like honey corn flakes, butter toffee, orange, poached pear, and ginger snaps.
Finish
Quite long and rich, with lingering fruity notes and a hint of cinnamon. Long, generous, and rich. Medium long with cinnamon spice, slight heat, dim hints of clove, citrus, melon, and ground ginger.
