Description

The Ladyburn Distillery was built in 1966 in the south west of Ayrshire by William Grant & Sons Ltd. The final production took place on November 15, 1975. There have been a very limited number of official and independent releases. Ladyburn was the shortest-lived distillery in Scotland, operating for less than ten years from 1966 to 1975, and was then demolished, making its releases rare. This is Batch 1, distilled in 1974 and bottled in 2014 at 40.8% ABV.
