Description

A malt distillery that was operational for less than a decade. It was built in 1966 by William Grant & Sons and was located within its Girvan grain complex until a need for expansion saw it dismantled again in 1975. Bottlings of its single malt are incredibly rare.

Nose
Apple and citrus aromas, with some slightly sour/musty oak, presenting a light and vibrant profile. Soft nutty notes, mint, and a hint of pepper.
Palate
Spicy and slightly malty, evolving into fresher and more vibrant notes of lemon and lemon balm. Quite sweet with pink grapefruit and a little pineapple, alongside clear oak and a soft nuttiness.
Finish
Half fruity and half grassy, without being overly oaky.
