Nose
A warm embrace of barbecue on the beach, bacon, smoked sausage, raw meat, turpentine, iodine, caramel, sticky sweet barbecue sauce, nuts and sweet wood smoke. Peat and leather notes with a touch of fruit in the background.
Palate
Full bodied with massive spiciness, ashes, sweet fruit flavours, oak, nuts, malt, and leather. A bold, rich peat with sweetness reminiscent of good BBQ that's both sweet and smoky, then coastal and oily.
Finish
Medium long, with a thin layer of caramel, fudge, and brown sugar. Sherry notes intermingle with peat, pure ash.
