Nose
A mild nose with light prickle, maritime notes of fresh sea breeze and iodine, backed by citric and chalky mineral notes. Hints of lemon peel, malty biscuits, hot ash, damp moss, vanilla, and milk chocolate.
Palate
Initially sweet, rounded, and citrus-fruity with notable saltiness. Peat smoke mixes with sweet fruit accents like caramel cookies, pears, green apple, vanilla, cinnamon, and orange peel. Prickly pepper and chilli-like heat, with notes of burnt wood, smoked meat, coal tar soap, charcoal ash, and embers.
Finish
Long, smoky, and drying, with spicy heat entwined with smoke. Earthy, iodine, and sea climate notes, with a pinch of pepper and lingering malted biscuit sweetness.
