Nose
Typical Lagavulin character with salt, sweet peat, cloves, smoked beef, and citrus notes like tangerines, softened by subtle sherry and hints of vanilla, evolving to Italian espresso.
Palate
Wonderfully creamy and oily, balanced with bittersweet notes, spices, peat, and smoke, along with iodine, sea flavors, coffee, vanilla, and an assortment of dried fruits.
Finish
Magnificent, nutty with citrus fruit and wood, turning salty at the end, with a lingering wet bitterness of peat, iodine, and sea.
