Nose
Intense peat smoke, sea spray, and medicinal notes mingle with sweet biscuits, smoked cedar, Manuka honey, pipe tobacco, old leather, candle wax, and hints of vanilla. There are also notes of sweet cereals, fresh oak, nutmeg, and a rich, vegetative peat with some ash.
Palate
Explosive smoke, sweet oak, coconut, citrus zest, and black pepper are present, alongside burnt oak, barbecued marshmallow, toffee, sea salt, and Belgian caramel waffles. Notes of roasted coffee beans, sticky toffee pudding, white pepper, vanilla, cinnamon, and a hint of funk in the peat smoke contribute to a medium-thick mouthfeel.
Finish
Long and powerful, with lingering peat, brine, warming spice, oak tannins, iodine, and sea salt. It also features notes of saucy barbecue, ashy smoke, dry oak, and a hint of char and vanilla.
