Description

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) was founded in Edinburgh in 1983 by Phillip 'Pip' Hills. The society sources casks from all over Scotland, which are then bottled and made available exclusively to its members. This Laphroaig, distillery code 29.286, was distilled on 13th May 1998 and aged for 23 years. It was bottled as part of The Vaults Collection. Laphroaig is one of the largest Islay distilleries and is known for its peated single malt whisky.
