Description

Laphroaig Elements L3.0 is the third installment in Laphroaig's experimental Elements series, a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky. This release was born from an unexpected kiln fire that caused the peat to burn longer and at significantly higher temperatures than usual, altering the malt. The resulting spirit was distilled from this uniquely peated barley and fully matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks. This process created a whisky with a distinctive flavor profile, offering a richer, darker, and more intense character than typical Laphroaig expressions, with prominent notes of chocolate and coffee alongside its signature smoky profile.
