Nose
Bold peat and sea spray lead the aroma, with iodine, mineral brine and a whisper of medicinal bandage. Sherry cask influence adds dried fruit, fig and a touch of treacle, while vanilla and waxy oak give a polished, elegant backbone. The nose is deep, smoky, and coastal, inviting quiet contemplation of its layered complexity.
Palate
Medicinal peat and sea-salted smoke lead the palate, tempered by rich sherry fruit. Dried fig and raisin mingle with vanilla, cocoa and a lift of espresso, while pepper accents sharpen the profile. Full, velvety texture coats the mouth and the peat lingers, leaving maritime minerals and oaken warmth to carry through the long, warming finish.
Finish
Lengthy, ashy peat lingers, carried by sea-salt tang and medicinal iodine. The sherry cask influence emerges in roasted almond and dark chocolate, softly warming into resinous oak and peppery spice. A refined, lingering finish that coats the palate with smoky sweetness and a subtle coastal breeze.
