Nose
Rich, sweet, and nutty aromas, reminiscent of walnuts, maple syrup, and warm pancakes. Delicate cinnamon spice and cloves. Intense iodine (antiseptic) and wet bandages, salty sea air, with hints of lemon peel and oak vanilla.
Palate
Sweet at the front, salt in the background, with a velvety smoke permeating the experience. Salted caramel and almonds. A thrilling spiciness from the high ABV, followed by campfire ash-like smokiness, and unexpected malt sweetness and fruit flavors.
Finish
Long, smouldering finish that lingers like the dying glow of an Islay hearth. Never-ending and mouth-coating, savory and spice. Powerful peat, dry oak, and salty notes remain, evoking the feeling of Islay.
