Nose
Tarred rope; sea spray; old dettol; salted caramel fudge. Fantastic nose, classic ex-bourbon Laphroaig in full effect.
Palate
A little thin on the palate. Sea salt; seaweed; Werther's originals; dettol; iodine soaked plasters. Heaps of coastal character, but absolutely tonnes of Laphroaig character.
Finish
Iodine and brown sugar lingering long. If Werthers originals made an iodine flavoured candy, this would be it.
