Description

This is a Williamson Laphroaig 9 Years Old, bottled in 2020 by The Whisky Jury. 'Williamson' is a common name for teaspooned Laphroaig, named after Elizabeth 'Bessie' Williamson, a former distillery manager and owner of Laphroaig between 1954 and 1972. A teaspoon of another whisky is added to a cask of single malt to prevent independent bottlers from selling it under the distillery's name. This release was distilled in 2010 and matured in a refill barrel.
