Description

This elegant and complex whisky was initially blended from more than fifty different Scotch whiskies. It spent much of its life in ex-Bourbon casks, and a portion was then finished in ex-Oloroso Sherry casks for further maturation to reach 50 years old. The product includes a main 750ml bottle and a miniature.

Rich, smooth, generous dark raisin, star anise, baked plums, dried apricots, apples, prunes, creamy texture, sweet and spicy notes, almonds, liquorice, honey, creamy puddings, sweet orange warmth, soft ripe fruits, caramel, barley sugar, vanilla shortbread, Christmas cake, and summer fruits.

Luscious, lingering, red grape, blackcurrant, subtle liquorice overtone, oaky notes, herbs, spices, warming note, gentle oak, mouth-coating fruits, and medium tannic finish.
