Description

As part of That Boutique-y Whisky Company's Return to Oz collection showcasing the best of Australian whisky, this single malt hails from Launceston distillery - located in the historic Hangar 17 within the oldest surviving aviation building in Tasmania. The expression was matured for five years in an ex-Bourbon barrel. On the bottle, the deadly animal chosen to represent Launceston is Australian cricket captain, Ricky Ponting. He stands alongside the distillery's resident dog, Angus the Westie, interviewing a Tasmanian Devil for a job whisky making. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 62.6% abv.
